Sri Lanka Army team arrived in Dhaka on Saturday to play the Group B matches of the AFC President’s Cup starting on Tuesday at the Bangabandhu National Stadium. Turkmenistan’s Ashgabat FC and B League champions Dhaka Abahani are the other two teams of the group.
Eleven teams split into three groups are competing in the AFC President’s Cup, a tournament involving clubs from the lower ranking Asian countries. The three group champions and the best runners-up team will be qualify for the semi-finals. Continue Reading
